There once was a special little dog named Shey 🐶. He was a 14-year-old miniature poodle who had been through some tough times. Shey had no teeth, couldn’t see well 👁️, and was almost completely deaf 👂. To make things even harder, his family had moved away and left him at the Animal Rescue League of Iowa 🏡. Poor Shey waited patiently at the shelter for four long months, hoping someone would adopt him and give him a loving home 💖
One day, a kind-hearted boy named Tristan 👦 came to the shelter looking for a furry friend to cuddle. The shelter staff introduced Tristan to Shey, telling him about all of Shey’s special needs. Tristan listened carefully and understood that Shey would need extra care 💙. But none of that scared him.
